Pumpkin carving is fast approaching!

 Did you know that pumpkin seeds are a great source of protein? (7g of protein per 1oz)

They are also a good source of fiber, healthy fats, vitamin K and minerals.

Below are some examples of different spice mixes that make an excellent addition when roasting pumpkin seeds.

Happy pumpkin seed roasting!

 

Italian

•   1 tsp olive oil

•   1 tbls grated Parmesan

•   1/4 tsp sea salt

•   1/8 tsp garlic powder

Ranch

•   1 tsp olive oil

•   1/2 tsp sea salt

•   1/4 tsp onion powder

•   1/4 tsp parsley

•   1/4 tsp garlic powder

•   1/4 tsp dill

•   1/8 tsp dry mustard

•   1/8 tsp celery seed

•   1/8 tsp paprika

•   1/8 tsp black pepper

Spicy

•   1 tsp olive oil

•   1/2 tsp sea salt

•   1/8 tsp cayenne pepper or chili flakes

•   1/8 tsp black pepper

Salt & Pepper

•   1 tsp olive oil

•   1/2 tsp sea salt

•   1/8–1/2 tsp black pepper

Dill

•   1 tsp olive oil

•   1 tsp white vinegar

•   1 tsp dill

•   1/2 tsp garlic powder

•   1/2 tsp sea salt

•   1/8 tsp black pepper

Cinnamon Sugar

•   1 tsp olive oil

•   1/2 tsp cinnamon

•   1 tbls brown sugar

•   Pinch of salt
